This conference will provide a detailed overview of the main current and future developments in innovative recycling technologies, especially for flexible packaging. With a holistic approach, this presentation by the international packaging recycling expert Anne Johnson, director of Resource Recycling Systems (RRS), will refer to the possibilities provided to manufacturers of packaged products today by advanced/chemical/molecular recycling, the economic opportunities of both chemical and mechanical recycling, as well as strategies to efficiently design plastic packaging waste recovery strategies. 

In this session, attendees will: 

• Assess in detail what new technologies in advanced/chemical/molecular recycling are about and their potential for the processing of materials difficult to recycle. 

• Understand the possibilities of implementation for these innovative advanced recycling technologies in the Mexican and Latin American markets.
