The packaging sustainability goals that brands have set for 2030 are just around the corner, and meanwhile packaging professionals of consumer-packaged products are arduously advancing through various roads towards circularity. Strategies for recycling, reuse/refill, composting, and reduction, among others, are being adopted by CPGs using different technologies. In this panel, experts from different technological paths will discuss and analyze what the most suitable routes and the most solid lessons learned in this progress towards circularity could be, and how precisely these different roads are allowing to innovate in packaging to meet the mentioned goals.
In this session, attendees will:
-
Learn the insights of experts in each area or path —recycling, reuse/refill, composting, reduction— and about the benefits and possibilities that each alternative represents for the advancement towards the circularity of packaging.
-
Listen to a discussion about the whys and wherefores of the advantages or disadvantages of each path depending on the scenarios and contexts of their Latin American reality.
-
Learn about success stories and specific applications in Latin America that set the grounds for a discussion of the pros and cons of each different path regarding moving towards packaging circularity.
