Jesús Núñez es egresado de la Licenciatura en Comercio Internacional con Especialidad en Agronegocios del Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, ITESM. Núñez ha cursado programas de posgrado y alta dirección de empresas en el IPADE sede Ciudad de México, Harvard Business School, IESE en Barcelona, Instituto de San Telmo, Tecnológico de Monterrey, así como en instituciones y centros de investigación en Estados Unidos y Europa. Desde febrero 2022, es profesor de cátedra en la Escuela de Bioingeniería del Tecnológico de Monterrey, Campus Monterrey, en la carrera de Ingeniería en Industrias Alimentarias.
Con una trayectoria profesional de más de 20 años en la industria de alimentos, Jesús se ha desempeñado en cargos directivos y estratégicos en empresas y organizaciones del sector en México, Sudamérica, Estados Unidos y Europa. Es el fundador, propietario y actualmente director general de Safte Food Ingredients, S.A de C.V, Miraestels Foods S.A de C.V. y Miraestels Foods, Inc., con base en Austin, Texas.
Además, participa activamente como consultor de diversas empresas e instituciones gubernamentales a nivel nacional e internacional en las áreas de innovación, diseño, elaboración de productos alimenticios y envasado funcional junto con sus estrategias de comercialización y apertura de nuevos mercados. En 2021, fue reconocido como uno de los 100 Emprendedores de México por la Asociación de Emprendedores de México, ASEM y en 2023 nominado al Emprendedor del Año México por la firma EY México (ganador por definir). Jesús es conductor del programa radiofónico de negocios, innovación y emprendimiento Plan de Vuelo en la estación Tec Sounds Radio del Tecnológico de Monterrey.

Jesús Núñez is a graduate of the Bachelor's Degree in International Trade with a Specialty in Agribusiness from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESM, by its acronym in Spanish) Monterrey Campus with Honorable Mention of Excellence in December 2000.
Núñez has completed postgraduate and senior business management programs at IPADE in Mexico City, Harvard Business School, IESE in Barcelona, Instituto de San Telmo, Tecnológico de Monterrey, as well as in institutions and research centers in the United States and Europe.
In the academic field, Jesús Nuñez has participated as a speaker in various international conferences and exhibitions, as well as in events organized by multinational companies. Since February 2022, he is a professor at the School of Bioengineering of the Tecnológico de Monterrey, Campus Monterrey, in the Food Industry Engineering career.
With a professional career of more than 20 years in the food industry, Jesús has held management and strategic positions in companies and organizations in the sector in Mexico, South America, the United States and Europe.
He is the founder, owner and currently CEO of Safte Food Ingredients, S.A de C.V., Miraestels Foods S.A de C.V. and Miraestels Foods, Inc., based in Austin, Texas.
In addition, he actively participates as a consultant to various companies and government institutions at a national and international level in the areas of innovation, design, production of food products and functional packaging together with their marketing strategies and opening of new markets.
Also, he is an authorized consultant for the Government of Peru in Mexico for its e-commerce projects through the commercial offices of PromPerú in Lima and Mexico.
In 2021, Jesús Núñez was recognized as one of the 100 Entrepreneurs of Mexico by the Association of Entrepreneurs of Mexico (ASEM by it acronym in Spanish) and in 2023 nominated for Entrepreneur of the Year Mexico by the firm EY México (winner to be defined).
